VOCAL SERVICES
As a vocalist Lucy has a wealth of experience and has sung at private, coporate and special events, including Weddings. She studied Music at the University of Birmingham, achieving a first in her final performances. She went on to study a PGCE at Goldsmiths, Univeristy of London which has enabled her to lead and perfom with choirs across Europe singing classical repertoire. She specialised in Jazz vocals during her studies but has also sung with big bands, pop groups and performed as an instrumentalist. Standard Service
The standard service includes all the essentials you'll need for an amazing evening. It's designed to minimise costs and includes live vocals with backing tracks.

Arrive from 6pm, setup by 7.30pm.

Perform a first dance request if required.

DJ a first dance request if not suitable for my voice.

Perform two forty five minute sets of live party music, finishing by midnight.

Background music before and between my live sets up until midnight.

Very high quality PA (sound system), suitable for audiences of up to 250 people

What I'll Do At Your Event

Arrival, set up & soundcheck
Upon arrival I'll liaise with the venue/event manager and load in, set up and sound check as quickly and as discretely as possible. This takes approximately 45 minutes, a few minutes of which are for 'sound check' which involves me playing live, full volume, in order to balance the sound and get the best possible live sound in your specific venue. I am happy to arrive and set up before your guests but I charge an early arrival fee per hour before 5pm if you've booked my standard service.
After set up
After I've set up and sound checked I will put background music on through my PA system (if required) and go to change into my stage clothes. You will need to arrange for the venue to provide me with a secure changing room, and your catering to provide me with soft drinks/tea/coffee. This is standard for all wedding/corporate/party bookings for any entertainer.
First set
After my first live set, I'll take a break (usually around 30/45 minutes) and for weddings, this is the ideal time to serve the buffet. During this time I'll leave a play list of carefully chosen music running in the background through my PA system. If you choose the DJ upgrade option I will run the DJ rig and be on hand to take requests and make announcements.

Second set and end of the night
After the second live set, if we have finished before midnight, we will provide background music until midnight (unless you've selected a later finish upgrade). Only after our official contracted finish time will we pack our equipment down. We will do this as quickly and discretely as possible - which usually takes around 45 minutes.
