Having worked in the past as a radio DJ Lucy now hosts live events in bars, clubs and private venues. She has worked with a number of DJs to host events covering a large range of music and can provide DJ sets and live music for your event. Standard Service
The standard service includes all the essentials you'll need for an amazing evening. It's designed to minimise costs by including everything you'll need.

Arrive from 6pm, set up by 7pm

Perform a five hour set, finishing by midnight.

Relaxed set during your drinks reception/meal/buffet.

What I'll Do At Your Event

Arrival, set up & soundcheck
Upon arrival I'll liaise with the venue/event manager and load in, set up and sound check as quickly and as discretely as possible. This takes approximately 30 minutes, a few minutes of which are for 'sound check' which involves me playing live, full volume, in order to balance the sound and get the best possible live sound in your specific venue. I am happy to arrive and set up before your guests but I charge an early arrival fee per hour before 5pm if you've booked my standard service.
After set op
After I've set up and sound checked I will put background music on through my PA system (if required) and go to change into my stage clothes. You will need to arrange for the venue to provide me with a secure changing room, and your catering to provide me with soft drinks/tea/coffee. This is standard for all wedding/corporate/party bookings for any entertainer.
5 hour set
During my set I will usually choose the music based on the crowd and the dancefloor. I am more than happy to take requests but these can sometimes take time to mix into the playlist to ensure the dancing doesn't stop and I cater for everyone's tastes. I will remain at the booth for the entirity of the night, however should I need to leave for any reason I'll leave a play list of carefully chosen music running through my PA system. Please note that bookings of over 5 hours will usually require a break point so that I am able to eat and take a break. A good idea is for this break to be during the food buffet - as usually food is provided during longer eveings; appropriate background music will then be played over the PA.

End of the night
If I have finished before midnight, I will provide background music until midnight (if required and unless you've selected a later finish upgrade). Only after my official contracted finish time will I pack my equipment down. I will do this as quickly and discretely as possible - which usually takes around 30 minutes.
